Artist Statement

The medium that I focus on is clay and ceramics! The overall theme that I put into each piece and revolved them around was nature mainly the ocean as well as diving deep into texture and form. I work mainly from small to medium sized pieces. I only used hand building for this year. I liked using very natural and muted glazes. I do not like the vibrant colors of other glazes on my pieces. I also tried to test different glaze types to see how the texture in my projects can be extenuated.
